Memorial May

This weekend my parents and younger sister left for Hawaii, so before they took off, we went out to dinner at the Golf Course that we had our second reception at for our wedding. We got to enjoy lamb chops, steak, pork, and ravioli as well as yummy cracker bread and great company! For dessert we got to enjoy a creme brulee and of course Nuyo. (whats new)...My sister and I took lots of pictures...Tadd and I both had to work on Saturday (today) and I got done at 11:00 and took my mom, dad and sister to the airport. And tonight, we are going to watch the Lakers game with some friends and then hopefully go to the movies to see Angels & Demons....more May to come...is that possible?!

May Madness

The past two weekends have been lots of fun! My two sisters came into town the week of May 11. Katie, my younger sister (twin), got into town on Wednesay and Jill came on Thursday night! Ironically, my parents had to go out of town for a family member's wedding in North Carolina. Friday night we had grand plans and ended up sitting at our house until 9:30pm. Katie and I then decided to do a Paula Abdul workout dance video...it was hilarious! On Saturday, Katie, Jill and I were able to get pedicures, run to the mall, Target, Wal Mart and then enjoy a fabulous dinner at Mikuni with Tadd, Lauren and Jen. We all got one roll a piece and shared them, it was so delicious. We then of course went to Nuyo. Then Tadd had to talk on Sunday in church. Lauren came to church which was really great and Tadd had such a wondeful talk, everyone was asking for copies and complimenting him on how well and obvious his talk was about a testimony.

More May

The following weekend after Tadd's parents were here, was MOTHER'S DAY...so my mom and I did the RACE FOR THE CURE together which was at Cal Expo and we walk/ran the 3 mile race. We finished in about 45 minutes and got a nice sweat in. We then perused the vendors and had our body fat taken, which we will not reveal! I then came back and laid out with my friend Lauren from about noon until three in the afternoon and got fried like a lobster! Then my parents had a BBQ with their friends and I had a few friends over as well. Lauren, Emly & Alex. We played pickleball and basketball and ate and hung out. Around midnight, we ended the evening, sadly there are no pictures to show the excitement of this weekend, including my RED hot burnt body!

The Month of May

Basically I have decided that if I post once a month, with everything that we did throughout the month, it will be sufficient. Therefore, here is what we did the entire month of May. It started out with a fabulous visit from the parentals. Kirk and Sharon delighted us with their trip out to Sacramento California for a nice rainy weekend of fun. They arrived on Friday night and we picked them up from the airport and they had tshirts on assuming that the weather here would not be rainy because it is almost summer and it is already ridiculously hot in Arizona. We then checked them into their hotel and got them jackets, and we headed to a new restarant in Roseville, called The Counter. It was yummy. It is a burger joint, where you can order off their menu or create your own. We all enjoyed shakes before dinner and, o yes, we found a place that serves SWEET POTATO FRIES. That is basically the reason that we went. And boy was it worth it! We then rented 7 pounds and watched that for the second time. So good, but o so Sad...Then on Saturday, we had breakfast together and hung around the house for a little while. Then we went and looked at a house for sale in our neighborhood, and were in a daydream for a while pretending we could afford a million dollar home....good times. Then we headed over to Tadd's work to show his parents his place of employment, and while we were there, he even got to work a little and lease a boat space. Then we decided to go to the movie theaters and we saw The Ghost of Girlfriend's Past....funny, sad, entertaining, overall, we all enjoyed it! Then back home to watch a bball game, have some din din and play somem games. Sunday the Sabbath, we went to church and Tadd bore a beautiful testimony that I am positive his parents enjoyed. The weekend went way too fast and it was really great to see the Barnett's. We look forward to seeing you again June 5-7....YAY!!!
